GJ Transport (hereinafter: the Service Provider) is committed to protecting the personal data of its customers. This notice sets out the principles and practices the Service Provider follows when processing personal data.

2. Scope of Processed Data
When you make a booking, we record the following data to perform the contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)):
- Name (identification)
- Phone number (contact, SMS notification)
- Email address (confirmation, sending the ticket)
- Pickup address (performing the service)
3. Data Transfers
For phone number verification (2FA) we use the SeeMe SMS gateway (seeme.hu) for Hungarian (+36) numbers, and Twilio Inc. for mobile numbers from other countries. Payment and invoicing data are handled in accordance with statutory requirements.
4. Cookies
Our system uses the following cookies:
- gjt_consent_status — stores your cookie consent, valid for 365 days (technical, necessary)
- Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) — only with full consent, for traffic statistics (analytical, optional)
4. Legal Basis for Processing
The legal basis for processing under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR):
- Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): Submitting a booking creates a contract, for which processing the data is essential.
- Legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)): Fulfilling invoicing obligations.
5. Data Transfers and Processors
We transfer your data to third parties solely to perform the service:
- Hosting provider: Rackhost Zrt.
- SMS notifications: SeeMe (Hungarian +36 numbers) and Twilio Inc. (international numbers) — for phone verification and notifications.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request from the data controller access to, rectification of, erasure of, or restriction of the processing of your personal data.
